We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Peter MacRae to Senior Associate and welcome Carolina Sa Brito as a new Associate to our Leadership Team!

Principals Gregory Borowski, Mitch Sakumoto, Shaun McIntyre, Louise Webb, and Darryl Jonas are delighted to recognize the contributions of Associate Peter MacRae as he expands his role to Senior Associate.

Peter is a registered architect with a keen interest in mixed-use and transit-oriented development and brings his enhanced experience and leadership skills with both our public and private sector client groups. Peter’s project work focuses on Mixed-Use Public Benefit, High Buildings, Heritage Rehabilitation, Multi-modal Transportation, Rental Housing, and Master-Planning.

We are also proud to welcome Carolina Sa Brito to our leadership team in her role as new Associate, complementing the roles of Managing Associate Mark Zaitsoff and Senior Associate Peter MacRae.

Carolina worked in Portugal and Southeast Asia for 3 years before moving to Vancouver to become an Intern Architect AIBC working on various mixed used projects. Carolina has proved herself an invaluable member of Merrick Architecture as a self-starter who excels at both working independently or collaboratively within a Project Team. We look forward to Carolina’s new role and are pleased to acknowledge the leadership qualities she brings to Merrick Architecture.
