On November 26, 2024, the Museum of Vancouver opened its doors to the Polish-Canadian Architectural Exhibition, an event celebrating the enduring contributions of Polish-Canadian architects to the architectural landscape of Canada and beyond. This exhibition brought together professionals, enthusiasts, and visionaries to honor the artistry, innovation, and heritage that have shaped the built environment over decades.
Greg Borowski, one of our Principals, helped play a role in organizing this inspiring event. Greg worked alongside a talented team of colleagues to bring this exhibition to life, showcasing a rich tapestry of work that bridges tradition and modernity.
This year’s exhibition paid a special tribute to Mr. Bogusław (Bogue) Babicki, commemorating the 100th anniversary of his birth.
This exhibition not only celebrated the accomplishments of individual architect but also underscored the importance of cultural heritage in shaping innovative and sustainable design. It was an evening filled with inspiration, reflection, and a renewed appreciation for the role architecture plays in weaving our collective story.
We extend our congratulations to all involved in the success of this event and invite you to join us in acknowledging the contributions of Polish-Canadian architects.
