We are thrilled to announce Darryl Jonas as a new Principal. Darryl joined Merrick Architecture in 2006, becoming a Managing Associate in 2010 in our Victoria studio. Darryl is a sensitive and refined designer, particularly disciplined in his attentiveness to constructability while imbuing a strong sense of craft.

Darryl’s 17 years at Merrick Architecture includes many institutional re-use, renovation, heritage and upgrade projects. He has extensive on-site construction experience and fully recognizes the intricate methodology of the construction process and its effect on the overall architecture and project success. In addition to his hands-on experience and technical knowledge, Darryl offers exceptional design strengths that are invaluable during the conceptual phase of planning and design. His impressive track record and dedication to delivering outstanding results aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing the highest level of service to our clients.

As Darryl officially takes on his new role as Principal, we embark on this new chapter in our practice’s continued growth and evolution.
