The Welcome Centre is the Universities first point of contact for new students, alumni, and visitors. It provides an introduction to the University and is the conduit between the University and outside community.

Housed in the University Centre it is placed within one of the main social hubs on campus. Designed to be open, bright, visibly accessible and most of all welcoming, the Centre accommodates space for casual gathering, formal presentation, conferencing and small meeting rooms for consultation and discussion with students and visitors. Reception is located up front, engaging activity in main Lobby.

The use of sliding glass doors allows the space to expand and contract as is hosts gatherings of various sizes. Attention to fine detailing and the predominant use of wood finishes enhance the welcoming feel of the space.
