Situated on the ceremonial Burrard Street at Davie, this new Burrard Gateway project establishes a landmark identity approaching the downtown from the Burrard Bridge. As a mixed-use project with retail and service uses on the ground floor, this building will have the potential for micro-residential suites, a public amenity such as a daycare, dynamic weather-protected corner plaza at the corner of Burrard and Davie, and provision of a major public art project. The provision of employment-generating space in the downtown continues to be a priority for the City of Vancouver. The project site is well suited to provide community serving office space facing Davie Street.
