The proposed 8 storey building includes 58 homes ranging from approximately 790sf to 1,460sf, the majority with 2 or 3 bedrooms ideal for families. All suites adjoin generous balconies or terraces for indoor-outdoor living, while penthouses feature direct access to private roof decks. The balance of the landscaped roof is dedicated to an amenity terrace which provides residents with spectacular views south over Burrard Inlet. Upon arrival at the main entrance, guests are greeted with a generous lobby which flows through to an indoor amenity room and adjacent lawn. Terraced seating and fire pits provide year-round comfort and a sense of community.

The project capitalizes on the richness of life in West Vancouver’s temperate rainforests. Elements of the massing are distinguished with a palette of sophisticated materials, beginning with a masonry base inset with contrasting punched windows and balcony doors and townhouse-style entrances followed by a midlevel in textured white brick. The upper two floors of the building are set back from the base and dematerialized with high-performance butt-joint glazing which merges with the changing sky. Outdoor spaces on all levels feature wood soffits and canopies which soften the appearance of the building from the street and embody uniquely local materials.
